Qualification : Minimum three years Diploma in Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering from an Institute recognized by Central/ State Government

Physical Standards : For Inspr (Architect) : Height : 167.5 Cms, Chest : 81 Cms (86 Cms  after expansion), Weight : Corresponding to Height. For SI/JE (C&E) : Height : 165 Cms. Relaxable by 05 Cms for hill tribes and Advivasis. . Chest : 76-81 Cms. Relaxable by 02 Cms for candidates below 20 years of age, Weight : Corresponding to Height, Must qualify the physical efficiency test and written test.

Medical Standards : Eye Sight : Minimum vision should be 6/6 & 6/9 of both eyes without corrections b) The candidates must not have knock knees, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and they should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect/ deformity likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.

Application Fee : DD for Rs. 50/- as examination fee to be drawn in favour of DDO HQ DG BSF, payable at SBI Service Branch New Delhi, code No. 7687.

Selection Procedure : Written Examination/ Interview.
