Indian Forest Service (IFS) Examination 2012
Candidate to Ersure theie eligibility for the examination:-
Candidates applying for the examination should ensure that they fulfil all eligibility conditions for admission to the Examination. Their admission at all the stages of the examination will be purely provisional subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions.
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree of any recognised university with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
Verification of eligibility conditions with reference to original documents is taken up only after the candidate has qualified for Interview/Personality Test.
Physical Standards : Candidates must be physically fit according to physical standards for admission to Indian Forest Service Examination, 2012 as per regulations given in Appendix-III of the Rules for the Indian Forest Service Examination, 2012 published in the Gazette of India dated 14th April, 2012.
Application Fee: Candidates applying (excepting Female/SC/ST/PH candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of Rs.100/- (RupeesOne Hundr ed only) either by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash, or by using net banking facility of SBI, State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur/State Bank of Hyderabad/State Bank of Mysore/State Bank of Patiala/State Bank of Travancore or by using Visa/Master Credit/Debit card.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS : Candidates are advised to read carefully “Special Instructions to the Candidates for Conventional Type Tests” (Appendix III).
